Part-Time Facility Maintenance Attendant      Full Job Description           $11.00 - 13.00/hour          CLOSING DATE: UNTIL FILLED 

JOB SUMMARY

The position is to attend and assist a wide range of miscellaneous public and private events, building maintenance, working in tandem with the Facilities Maintenance and under the supervision of the WCC Director. Must have personable skills and able to communicate with guests, the public, coworkers, city staff, and management in an efficient and respectful manner. Must always ensure the security of the building and convey the same with others.

Park Maintenance Technician          $37,440/annually       Job Description        Full-time, Non-exempt     Parks and Recreation Department

JOB SUMMARY  

Under the direction of the Parks Director and Natural Resource and Maintenance Parks Manager, this position is responsible for the proper operation, maintenance, repairs, safety, and general appearance of the landscapes and features for the Blue Hole Regional Park and 6 additional parklands. Maintain jogging and biking paths, hiking trails, athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, lawns, flower beds, and gardens.

JOB SUMMARY  

Under general supervision of the Parks Director and the Recreation Manager, the Programs Coordinator is responsible for aiding with the development, planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and events for the Parks and Recreation Department. This customer and community-oriented position will coordinate with park staff and outside organizations to achieve goals and objectives set by the Department.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general supervision and guidance of the Parks and Recreation Director, the Park Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Parks and Recreation Department including managing part-time Park Supervisors, office administration staff, and supplemental positions, coordinate facility rentals, and manage online reservation systems including swim reservations for Blue Hole Regional Park. Ensures the quality of service, budgeting, meetings, compliance with health, safety, and sanitation awareness standards. The Operations Manager is expected to attend to a wide range of miscellaneous public events, develop marketing strategies, and facility maintenance requirements on daily basis. The Operations Manager is responsible for achieving guest and employee satisfaction and for managing the financial performance of the department.
