Cypress Creek Nature Trail & Preserve
Overview
The City of Wimberley has developed 7.24 acres of land along Cypress Creek into a protected preserve and nature trail. This park is located immediately east of the Wimberley Square, bordered by Cypress Creek and Old Kyle Road. The park was acquired in 2001 by the City and features a walking trail along Cypress Creek connecting to Blue Hole Regional Park. At the time of the acquisition, a conservation easement was entered into between the City of Wimberley and the Wimberley Valley Watershed Association.
A Cypress Park Master Plan (PDF) was commissioned by the Wimberley Valley Watershed Association and includes improvements to the trail system and signage.
