Title: Place Two Council Member
Teresa Shell

"I cherish the Wimberley Valley’s charm and character as well as our natural resources. Working with your city council members to preserve these attributes is very important to me. Equally as important to me is continuing to partner with the county, local and regional organizations to improve the safety and quality of life for our residents and those who visit our special home."

Teresa Shell, Place 2, Wimberley City Council has served since May 2020. Previously, she served on the Wimberley Planning and Zoning Committee. Also, as the chairman of the prior City of Wimberley Downtown District Committee, she organized and prioritized critical initiatives for the downtown area, including parking, safe passages for pedestrians, ADA compliance, lighting, and traffic flow. The Old Kyle Road development originated from this committee and is one of her highest priorities. Teresa is focused on preserving both the historic attributes and the look and feel that so many cherish about Wimberley for generations to enjoy.
