Jim Chiles, Place 4, Wimberley City Council, has served on the council since May 2020. A graduate of Texas State University and Certified Public Accountant, he evaluates opportunities to maintain a balanced annual budget and strong fund balances. Jim worked nearly 40 years for oilfield service companies.
Presently, he volunteers as the treasurer of the Wimberley Hills Property Owners Association and as co-captain of an aid station on the marathon course for Ironman Texas. Previously, he volunteered on the ticket services committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Jim and his wife, Ginger, have three daughters and six grandchildren. They stay busy in their spare time enjoying all that the Hill Country has to offer.
